Here are some pictures of Meghan from the last few weeks. Things have been hectic around here. We have had something to do every week. Then, my laptop crashed and my world turned upside down! I was so lost without it! My desktop computer does not have half of the things my laptop has and I was not even in the mood to try and do everything from there. Plus I was so worried I would loose some files on my laptop, but luckily the only thing that was wrong with the computer was the mother board. They replaced it and now it works great. Just like it was brand new! I did not loose a thing either. I am so thankfull that we purchased the extended warranty when we bought it.
Meghan eating a blueberry muffin. It was her first time trying them and she loved it! She likes to feed herself now.

Meghan waiting for the Adoption Ceremony to begin! We readopted her on September 28th. It turned out to be a really special day. We were surprised when we entered the court room and saw that it was decorated for the children.

This is what the court room looked like. Besides the balloons, the judge's bench was lined with stuffed bears and lambs. There was about 20 or so, families there adopting their children.

Meghan and the judge who signed her final adoption papers. The perfect ending to one of the chapters in her new life.

Meghan got to see Z again! His family drove up from Houston to also adopt him. Meghan was happy to see him! They played together on the floor in the court room while we awaited our time to talk to the judge.

Meghan listening to the Marine Drum and Bugle Corp at the Texas State Fair.

Sacked out in her stroller. She tried so hard to stay awake all day. She had a blast at the fair!

Catie jumped into Meghan's pack-n-play and Meghan saw her in there. Meghan wanted to get Catie!

Meghan opening up a gift that was sent to her by one of her aunts! It was a nice surprise we got in the mail. We love surprises!

Playing dress up with Mommy's scarf. She liked it and for fun I tied it around her head. She would fit in nicely if it were the sixties. And no, it is not part of her halloween costume, nor is she going to be a sixties girl!

The Pumpkin Patch! Yeah, my favorite time of the year. Hopefully she will learn to like this time of the year!
Meghan riding the Pumpkin Express train at the pumpkin patch. Her friend is in the car behind her. Meghan's friend had a blast there too!

Hanging out on a pile of pumpkins!

Oh, boy, are we in for a treat! She has a good taste of what it is like to be on the move! Meghan absolutely loves walking! She likes her push toy, we have to guide it because she pushes it too far, but is not quick enough to move her feet. Meghan is also starting to pull herself up on things. Especially MJ and I! I don't think it will be long now before she starts crawling. She is also starting to say "bye bye" really good and can also say "ha" for hat. She knows exactly what a hat is! She is still saying "buh" for book and "ba" for bottle. She will say "mama" or "dada" but intermittently and she does not exactly look for us, but she does know who we are when we say "mama" or "dada" and point to the opposite parent. We know that she understands what we tell her because she will look in a particular direction or respond to us with cooing sounds or giggles.
Meghan wearing one of my baby dresses! Isn't that cool!
Life is much better when you are lying down!
Ah, our little Ragin Cajun fan. She may get to go see one of their football games in November!
