Possibly 2 More Months???????

Look who is keeping the stroller warm. I caught her in it when I went to close the blinds. Echo, like all of you, is wondering, how much longer? Well, last week the CCAA matched people with LID's through September 27, 2005. If we do the math, that means that it is taking roughly 2.5 months to match one month of LID's. There are some factors that we have to include in my calculations. 1) Chinese New Year(CNY) falls in the middle of February which means that the CCAA will take off an entire week. 2) The CCAA could complete either 1 or 2 more batches before they go on vacation for CNY. With those factors in mind, here are my calculations:

Good Case Scenario:

• Late Jan./Early Feb. - referrals will cover LID's through Oct. 17, 2005.
• Late Feb./Early Mar. - referrals will cover LID's through Oct. 31, 2005. (We are LID Oct. 28, 2005).
• (Keep in mind, this is if CCAA does 2 batches before CNY).

Bad Case Scenario:

• Late Jan./Early Feb. - referrals will cover LID's through Oct. 10, 2005.
• Late Feb./Early Mar. - referrals will cover LID's through Oct. 25, 2005.
• Late Mar./Early Apr. - referrals will cover LID's through Nov. 5, 2005. (This would include us, our LID is Oct. 28, 2005).
• (This scenario is based on if CCAA does 2 batches before CNY).

Worst Case Scenario:

• Late Jan./Early Feb. - referrals will cover LID's through Oct. 10, 2005.
• Early March - referrals will cover LID's through Oct. 21, 2005.
• Late March/Early Apr. - referrals will cover LID's through Nov. 1, 2005. (This would include us.)

Now remember, these are just my calculations and as we know...the wait could grow longer. MJ and I hope that will not happen, but realistically, we are preparing ourselves for a late March referral. If we get lucky, and the referral comes in late Feb., then that would be a nice surprise, especially since our anniversary is at the end of the month. But, like I mentioned before, we think it will come in March sometime with April being the worst case scenario. (Well it would not be bad to get it in April, but as far as the wait goes, it could be rough). Stay tuned for more updates..........We are inching closer to Meghan!
