The Saints are marching on! For the first time in over 40 years, they are going to play in the NFC championship game. What a Cinderella Story! Last year they were nomads (no stadium to call home) and had a losing record. This year has been a different story.
They played an awesome game last night, although it was a nail bitter for us! Deuce McAllister was phenomenal. He bulldozed his way through the Philly defense several times and the best play was when he scored a touchdown with the help of the offensive line. They pushed a huge pile of players until Deuce made it over the goal line. That was so cool! In the last 3 minutes of the game, we thought it was all over for the Saints when the ball was fumbled and turned over to Philly, but their defensive guys came out and shut Jeff Garcia down!
Now we have to sit back and wait to see who they will play. The Chicago Bears or the Seattle Seahawks? We are rooting for Seattle because if they win, then the Saints get to keep home field advantage. If the Bears win, then the Saints have to travel to Chicago. So for today, we are Seahawks fans, just like we were last week when they played Dallas. (We are not Cowboy fans!)

Update:
It looks like the Saints will be off to the "Windy City" next weekend. It's official. The Bears beat the Seahawks in overtime. Wish the Saints luck! Hopefully Brees can beat Grossman!
