Sunday in Guangzhou

Sunday was quite a busy day. The time is really flying by and we are feeling the shopping time crunch. We started the day with another wonderful breakfast and Meghan really enjoyed her scrambled eggs. She is starting to refuse the congee (which is good because I don't know how to make it). We introduced her to bananas and she gave us the funniest look when she ate them. It is so funny! We first mixed them with the congee, but she caught on to that trick, so we gave them to her without anything else. We will keep working on that one. After breakfast we took a stroll through the hotel to see the beautiful waterfall atrium and pools. This hotel is so beautiful. I heard that there were renovations going on here at the hotel. If they are, I have not seen nor heard anything!

After we had our morning stroll, MJ and I took Meghan back to the room for her mid-morning bottle and nap. While she napped we tried to clean up some things in the room. MJ has become quite the bottle maker and keeper of bottles! He is doing such a great job. I am so proud of him. When Meghan woke up, we took a stroll through the island and I got a coffee at Starbucks. It tastes just like home! Then we went shopping for a little while, until we met up with my parents. We then went to dinner and ate at a Japanese restruant. It was really good. After dinner we took Meghan to go swim in the pool. She loved it and had so much fun. She is a little waterbug! Yeah! After about 1 hour of swimming we took her back to the room and gave her a nice warm bath. Of course she thought the tub was a pool too! She is going to be a bath queen too! She loves taking baths.

The beautiful atrium where the waterfall is located and several other interesting views.
Another picture of the waterfall area.
Practicing for the red couch photo shoot with our adoption group.
On my way to Starbucks! It was so good that I went back for a few more people.
This is the Pearl Market. We had fun shopping in here, but it is better if your guide directs you to the correct store.

This is from the Pearl Market. There are 5 times.

Watching the girls make the earrings, and chops for less than several other stores..

Meghan and her best . They shared nannies and a room togher.

Meghan enjoying her swim at the pool. She is a waterbug!
